TRANSPORTATION

ROAD - Nashville is one of only six U.S. cities at the convergence of three major interstate highways – I-40, I-65 and I-24. 140 freight carriers and 150 truck terminals are located in the Nashville Economic Market.

RAIL - CSX Transportation has two major rail yards in Nashville, as well as an Intermodal terminal, TDSI automatic distribution terminal and TRANSFLO terminal. Nashville is CSX’s division headquarters. Goods can travel on rail to Memphis, then to Canada or from Nashville directly to the Port of Savannah.
